Personal
Archival Memory
A
TigersTime Studios Exclusive!
You ran your heart out that
day. Maybe it was last week, last year, or a decade ago. You
trained and trained. You ran a personal best and finally
managed a third place in your age group. And for all your
effort, you won a $10 gift certificate that may have netted you
a pair of socks. Super! What a keepsake. I can
help you remedy that faux pas.

Whether
you're a seasoned top competitor or a recreational runner, I
want to
offer you
the
opportunity to
immortalize your achievements in an ornate, personalized, full
color Archival Memory. Click
here to read about the development. Why
not remember that moment for everyone to see? You don't
have to win something to do it. The
race photographers help runners remember events by offering
more than photos. I purchased a rather nice printed mat for
one of my race photos. It has the race time, the race
name, the date and location.
I designed these Archival Memories because
I wanted something unique and colorful to remember my participation
in the
2007 National Senior Games - The Senior Olympics - held in Louisville,
KY. I won the NC qualifying competition, but I could only
manage a 5th place AG in the games - 19th overall. I received
a small ribbon. Who knows, I may never qualify again.
I began the design by obtaining a set of
ornate musical score borders. I went to my printer to review
stock and other certificates. I saw that many had very fine
anti-copy lines. So I obtained a plugin to create those lines. The
ornate borders came with high resolution, authentic parchment images,
so I used one as a base paper. I then added areas for running
information and certification.
Design 2 is a commemorative I did following
a small 5K race here in NC. This
piece uses a stock background photo. I
have a selection of 36
photos, or you can use your own. You can also include
a race photo. I also offer you ten
color options for your
graphics. I want to offer you the opportunity to remember
that special event and
grace
your
wall
with a personalized
Archival
Memory. I have made several PDF files that will help you
with your design.
The commemorative comes fully laminated with
an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of self adhesive foamcore. Each
can be trimmed to accommodate your frame window offsets.
Fully Laminated Plaques
| These are fully laminated plaques. This
is a big step up. The lamination covers the commemorative
and extends all the way
to the beveled edge. We offer this option
for the 8" x 10" commemoratives. The finished
plaque size is 13 1/2" x 11 1/2". Your selected
background color is applied to a hardwood composite. Prior
to the laminating process, the plaque's natural beauty
is enhanced by applying a wood grain finish or color you
have selected. Material to be laminated is edged in
your color choice to match the plaque's
beveled outer
edges.
Each plaque is then hand-worked through a 26-step process. |
