Free Commemorative Certificate
Race Organizers Only

How would you like to offer every participant in your event a really nice certificate designed by the president of Freedom Memorials for Free?  I can do that.

I want to promote the memorial every way I can.  I will use my certificate design and add your race name, race logo, sponsor logos, medallion lettering, and background image to personalize the commemorative for your race.  Your participants can open the PDF file, fill in the pertinent information on screen and print.  They then have a beautiful commemorative, ready for framing, to remember their achievement.  Background photo and border color changes can be made from year to year to keep the look fresh.

These certificates differ from the award and personal commemoratives in two ways.  One, the background photo will always be a grayscale image if the free commemoratives are offered in conjunction with my full color awards.  And two, the runner's information is located in a rectangular frame rather then the ornate frame used in the custom commemoratives.  This will always be the case.  Naturally, the other big difference is the print medium and the inks used.  The custom commemoratives are printed using archival inks and paper.  They are also laminated.  Here, the participant prints their own certificate, so the quality they achieve is based on their printer and the paper used.

You may be able to raise more sponsorship dollars or in kind donations since I can add your featured sponsors to the certificate.  That's more exposure for them to a great demographic.  Click here to see a sample certificate PDF.  Fill it in and print one out.  Use photo paper and the photo quality setting for best results.

I only ask for two things in return.  One, that you use our certificate PDF file which includes a cover letter that informs people about the memorial.  This is about promoting the project.  And two, you promote the commemorative to your participants.  That can be done through your Website (link to the supplied PDF file using our link image or one of your design), direct e-mail, an announcement to the runners prior to the start of the race, or with an insert placed in your race packets.  Click here to see a sample of the packet insert.  One of the large copy shops may offer free copies and cutting in return for a logo spot on your certificate.  You can review a sample link image for your site here.  Your webmaster can handle it from there.
